As I enjoy a cup of coffee on a beautiful Sunday morning and think of the events of the week past, I have a heavy heart. I cannot understand the driving forces that have given ri even consider the issue is discriminatory in its own right! Gee Golly. I am proud to live western Kentucky! And hopefully, as each of us, myself included, go about our day, in caution unfortunately, if we try to be understanding of everyone else and the role he or she takes in life, police officer or citizen, we may be pleasantly surprised that understanding is reached. The “talking heads” spoke of how politicians have been touting a need for societal conversation but then observed that all we have ever done is reference the conversation! The question then became, when have folks from all races sat down together to hash things out?
